I also can't imagine why these were not used on corvette Chevalier Camry 442 gs skylark Sabre, etc write those years because have vehicles serviced or owned in this year range. Not available anywhere on. Your lights or directional power windows other electrical components are good. Because there is more to it than a single contact surface.
I did all of the above and nothing. There are multiple contact surfaces etc. You are buying 5 box not included rare find correct wire terminal ends for your 1967 Cadillac and likely surrounding years. I used these throughout my 61 Alvarado restoration, recently on a 1966 fleet wood that had front parking light issues, etc.
OK, so here is the problem. The wiring looks good but for some reason your have interrupted or intermittent continuity. Learned the hard way. Simply cut off the old clip, skin 3/8 inch of wire and crimp or solder this clip on.
You plug it in and still have the problem. There is metal tension. You use a fine jewelers screw driver to bend down the tang in plug, and pull out wire. You file or dreamily what think is the contact surface it was clip.
I had back up lights that did not work on a 67 Cadillac adv. You can't firs that with a file. The plug at neutral switch looked good. There is spring tension been.
Real problem solvers. You track down the problem to corrosion on these terminal ends. There is so much material you don't have to solder.
