What I can tell you is that its on and off just fine. I figure if the right person is going to purchase that piece then they would know how clean it better than. Sorry I couldn't help more. Everything I sell goes through close inspection and am always honest with conditions of my products.

It was found in an old tool chest. Also, I have arthritis so my vintage products may need more attention to detail than can give. Also has a small 2mm long scrape on the side of knob itself. See pic it also needs to be cleaned a bit.
