Details:

Don't over-tighten, as the threads are plastic and if they strip you'll have to use some glue between switch can. I set it up in a position that should work for all cars though. You can us as is or replace with the one on your switch they screw.

It was dismantled, contacts cleaned, and reassembled. All switch positions make good contact checked with my ohmmeter and the doesn't flop around on metal mounting 'can' like many do. Functions perfectly with no resistance across the contacts when checked a ohmmeter. Three dash switches for later TR6 that often give trouble.

Lucas production stamp is APR 1971 but this switch was used in all TR6s from a refurbished heater fan also included offer. The pull-type hazard emergency flasher switch is actually for land rovers but only difference red plastic knob painted flat black as shown. The wiper switch is used but very solid and works as designed.
