Fits 1955 Ford trucks. This switch is a pre 1980production as it comes with the plate. Many of those trucks didn't come with turn signals until states mandated it. Later ones did not and were discontinued some time thereafter.

I don't know why it wouldn't fit 1953s or 1954s same column but they show a different part. Seems I read a reference that it fits 1951 thru 1954s as well but I don't know that for sure. Fits 1955 Ford cars.
