Details:
There is still some residual wax to be removed before installation. The knob was covered in a heavy wax from the manufacturer for preservation. Not sure if it is tar or the rubber is aging from shelf storage.
The cable and control assembly are in brand new, never used condition and is free of any damage.
The rubber sheath over the cable does have a soft spot to the rubber. The control is in excellent condition and free of any oxidation or damage.
I removed 90 of the wax in order to show pictures. This item was obtained from old service garage and is not a newly remanufactured part.
